Meizu M5 note – The MEIZU has become one of the most popular Chinese smartphone brands to sell quality mobiles. It comes with the most popular FlyME OS. This custom skin from Meizu is loved by almost every Android developer including me. The UI is user-friendly, looks excellent and is very stylish. Now, the company has unveiled its new smartphone under the big battery category. The M5 Note is the successor of the M3 Note from Meizu.
The Meizu m5 Note comes with 153.6×75.8×8.15mm dimensions and weighs 175 grams. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The display is made of LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio. The display is perfect for a device with Helio P10 processor. The colors and viewing angles of this display are pretty impressive to the eyes. The M5 Note runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the Flyme OS 6.0 on top of it.
Under the hood, the M5 Note is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz and for graphics it comes with the Mali T860 GPU. Honestly, for a device which is priced under 15k, the Helio P10 is a drawback. As most of the mid-range flagship come with the powerful and battery efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 and Snapdragon 652. Powering all these features, there is a 4000 mAh battery that is the highlight of this device. It would be plenty to run your device smoothly for a longer time.

Storage wise, the device has two RAM variants; with 3GB of RAM and with 4GB RAM which is coupled with 16/ 32/ 64GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB with the use of an SD card. In my opinion, the RAM management in Flyme UI is excellent. So, 3GB/ 4GB RAM will do ideal for heavy multi-tasking and to run high-end games. The storage is pretty convenient too; you can choose the variant as per your needs.
For the camera, this smartphone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera at the back. It comes with features like dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, and an aperture of f/2.2. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0, and it comes with the 4P lens technology. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE if you want to use JIO 4G in it, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n for better and robust wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 for the fastest pairing possible, GPS and hybrid dual-SIM.
